Learning Center

From hard facts to touching personal stories, this section offers a wealth of information on the breast cancer experience.

BCC library

BCC offers a wealth of breast cancer–related information both at our center and online. Visit our Megan Lynch Memorial Library for books, tapes, videos, and periodicals relevant to your diagnosis and treatment options. On this website, we’ve posted articles from journals, newsletters, and meetings, including our own annual conferences.

Survivorship & advocacy

Survivorship planning can start the day you begin your cancer treatment. BCC can help you develop a personalized survivorship care plan, including how to systematically document your treatments and side effects. Then we’ll stay with you to provide resources and support after your treatment ends. BCC also helps survivors get actively involved in the fight against cancer at the local, state, and national level.

Personal stories

No one can inspire you better than someone who has been through breast cancer herself. We invite you to read these powerful and poignant first-person accounts by BCC clients—and to contribute your own.
